Black wins gold at OFSAA Track and Field

Grade 9 East Northumberland Secondary School student Seth Black is a provincial high school track and field champion.
Black won gold in the Novice Boys Javelin event with a best throw of 49.24 metre at the OFSAA championships held at Western University in London.

Ten athletes from the ENSS Blue Dragons competed at OFSAA.

Cadence Tait was 16^th in the senior girls’1500 m (4:53.01) and14^th in the 800 m (2:22.73).

Dominic Rittwage was 15^th in the junior boys’400 m (52.35 s).

Sullivan Tait finished 17th in the novice boys’ 3000 m (9:42.12) and 22^nd in the 1500 m (4:41.52).

Temidire Osinuga was 17^th in junior girls’ shot put (9.30 m).

Dawson Dunham was 19^th in the novice boys’ 3000 m (9:49.20) and Jack Turner was 20^th in the same race (9:53.97).

The senior boys’ 4 x 100 m relay – Adrieyl Prince, Aidan Fairbank, Dominic Rittwage, Brayden Clark  – finished 14^th in 43:45 s.
