A new rainfall record for the Quinte region was set on Thursday.
Readings taken at CFB Trenton showed 26 mm of rain, breaking the previous record for June 6 of 15.2 mm set in 2013.
Though there’s a chance of showers and maybe a thunderstorm on Friday, it’s highly improbable another new record will be set.
The record for June 7 is 56.4 mm set in 1947.
