With work on the Bay of Quinte Skyway Bridge nearing completion, an overnight closure planned for this week has been rescheduled.
The Highway 49 bridge connecting Tyendinaga/Deseronto and Prince Edward County was to be fully closed this Thursday night but that closure has been moved to Monday, June 10 from 9 p.m. until 6 a.m. on Tuesday, June 11.
The closure is intended to open bridge to two lanes of traffic.
Rehabilitation work on the bridge has been ongoing since 2018 with completion anticipated for this summer.
