Fire destroyed a small barn at 227 Airport Road in Quinte West early Sunday morning.
Fire Chief John Whalen says firefighters from Tuckers Corners and Frankford halls responded around 1:30 a.m. to find the barn fully engulfed in flames.
“The horses were out of the barn, the homeowners were able to do that and the structure was completely lost. No injuries and we’ll be investigating in the morning. It appears to be electrical.
About $100,000 damage was caused and firefighters had the fire out within an hour.
