Correctional Service Canada is reporting a death at Millhaven Institution east of Napanee on Wednesday.
Forty-four-year-old John Bride was serving an indeterminate for first degree murder, theft, robbery, use of firearm and escape lawful custody.
The sentence began on June 24, 1998.
The inmate’s next of kin have been notified.
The CSC will review the circumstances. As per CSC policy, it requires that the police and the coroner be notified.
