Hydro One has announced 35 recipients of funds through their Energizing Life Community Fund, and some local organizations were chosen to receive funds.
Each of the 35 recipients has received $25,000. Recipients include Indigenous communities, charitable organizations, and municipalities across Ontario.
Mohawks of the Bay of Quinte, Youth Habilitation Quinte, and Down Syndrome Association of Peterborough were among the applicants selected to receive funding.
This is the fourth consecutive year of grants from the fund.
