The City of Belleville is currently seeking public input on the proposed extension of the College Street East sidewalk in the industrial park.
The city has budgeted $500,000 for the project which would extend the sidewalk from east of Jamieson Bone Road (500 College St. East) to the eastern limits of College Street East.
The extension will:
- Provide a safe and accessible place for pedestrians along College Street East
- Extend pedestrian access to places of employment in the North East Industrial Park
- Provide connectivity from the transit stop located at Jameson Bone and College Street East intersection
