Ontario Provincial Police have made an arrest after a number of incidents involving thefts in Campbellford.
On May 16, 2024, around 2:20 p.m., police were called out on a report of a number of incidents of scrap metal being stolen from a business on Trent Drive.
The complainant told police that a person had been on the property several times in a little over a week while the business was closed.
OPP began an investigation and made an arrest on Sunday.
Forty-year-old Mark Brennan from Warkworth was charged with theft under $5,000.
The accused is scheduled to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice in Cobourg at a future date.
