One hundred forty-six golfers came out for the 20th annual Play a Round for the Kids Golf Tournament, raising a record-breaking amount in support of programming for underserved children and youth in the region.
The tournament, held at Black Bear Ridge, raised $78,805.
“I’m so happy and proud to be the title sponsor for The Children’s Foundation Golf Tournament,” said Patricia Guernsey, from Guernsey Team Real Estate. “This amazing event never disappoints. Congratulations to all. The people of this community are always so generous and amazing to deal with.”
The funds raised will be used to provide child and youth programs through The Children’s Foundation.
