Prince Edward County’s Water and Wastewater Department will continue repairing two watermain breaks in Wellington on Thursday.
One is on Niles Street between Westwind Cresent (east and west entrances) and the other is on Wellington Main Street between Belleville Street and the entrance to the town on Highway 33.
Traffic in those areas may be reduced to one lane during repairs.
Water quality should not be affected and remain safe to drink, however, residents in the areas of the repair may experience pressure fluctuations or coloured water while construction is taking place.
If coloured water is experienced, customers are encouraged to flush their water lines at the cold water tap nearest to the water meter once work is complete.
