A 29-year-old man is facing charges including domestic assault following a disturbance in Belleville’s east end Wednesday night.
Police responded just before 10 p.m. after receiving information that a male had assaulted two females, one of whom he was in a relationship with, and broke a window in the residence.
When police arrived they found the suspect unconscious on the front lawn from the ingestion of controlled substances.
He was taken to hospital for treatment and later released into police custody charged with domestic assault, assault and mischief.
He was held for a bail hearing.
One of the females suffered minor injuries.
