Two people were injured, one critically when a vehicle collided with a moose early Sunday in Algonquin Park.
Killaloe OPP say it happened around 1 a.m. on Highway 60 near Tea Lake.
The two occupants were taken to hospital in Huntsville.
One of them, a 40-year-old woman, was then transferred to a Toronto trauma centre with life-threatening injuries.
The OPP ask people to obey posted speed limits and drive with caution warning that an increasing number of moose are coming out of the forest, particularly in the area of Algonquin Park, in an effort to escape from swarms of insects.
