United Way Hastings & Prince Edward is excited to announce the launch of its MEGA 50/50 draw as a new online fundraising initiative in 2024.
The new 50/50 draw offers participants the chance to win big while also giving back to the community. Half of the proceeds will go to the lucky winner, while the other half will directly benefit United Way HPE’s fundraising campaign which supports programs and services across Hastings & Prince Edward.
“We are thrilled to share this new fundraising opportunity with our supporters,” said Brandi Hodge, Executive Director of United Way HPE. “The 50/50 draw not only gives participants the chance to win a cash prize, but it also helps us continue our vital work in supporting in our community.”
Tickets for the 50/50 draw are now available for purchase online at www.unitedwayhpe.ca/5050tickets. Participants can choose from a range of ticket options, with prices ranging from 50 for $20, 10 for $10 or 2 for $5. The draw will take place on August 15 at 12 p.m. and the winner will be announced on United Way HPE’s website and social media channels.
By participating in the 50/50 draw, individuals 18+ can support United Way’s mission of improving lives and creating lasting change in our community. Funds raised will go towards supporting programs that address key issues such as poverty, homelessness, and mental health.
