Renovations are coming to the Tuckers Corners tennis courts.
During Wednesday’s council meeting, Quinte West Council voted to approve plans to renovate the tennis courts, converting them to a multipurpose court with space for tennis, pickleball and basketball.
The budget for the project is set for $200,000 to be paid from the parkland reserve fund, and it is expected to be completed this year.
The next step in the project is to design the new space, which is expected to be completed in June. Construction at the site is expected to start in July and be done by the end of October.
Council approved the project without debate.
