Heritage Belleville is inviting residents to join them on June 15 to celebrate the 150th birthday of Belleville City Hall.
The event will go from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. and will feature birthday-themed activities including:
- Birthday cake
- Music by Andy Forgie and members of the Quinte Symphony
- Guided tours of City Hall
- Period actors
- Historical games from Glanmore National Historic Site
- Scavenger hunts
- Prizes
- Documentary Screenings
Special displays for the event on the history of the building, how its role and function have changed over the years, renovations that have taken place, and more, have been curated by the Hastings County Historical Society and the Community Archives of Belleville/Hastings County.
