A big new housing development is being proposed for Brighton.
The development proposed by Stephen Tobey/Van Meer Ltd. would feature at least 134 residential units with access off Ontario Street with extensions on Lawrence Avenue north and Meadow Creek Drive.
The units would be single-detached and multiple residential unit buildings. There would be trails along Butler Creek.
The developers have proposed three options and Brighton municipal staff are planning to advertise an open house in the near future to allow for public comment before a formal planning process begins.
