Temperatures last month were very close to historical normals in the Quinte region but April was a lot wetter than usual.
The average rainfall for an April over the years is around 72 millimetres but last month the rainfall was almost double that amount at 137 mm.
Snowfall was about normal at four centimetres.
Meanwhile, the average high temperature last month was 13 degrees Celsius and the average low around 3 degrees.
