The Bay of Quinte Air Show is coming up in June, and the city of Quinte West is preparing extra parking for the event.
During Wednesday’s meeting of council, councillors voted to permit parking on some municipal properties during the show.
With the large number of expected guests, parking will be made available at centennial park, the Quinte West Snow Dump on Aikins Road, and at the Carrying Place Industrial Park.
The Airshow, being held at CFB Trenton, will celebrate the 100th year of the Royal Canadian Air Force.
The air show will feature a search and rescue demonstration, flybys by heritage aircraft, and an aeronautics demonstration by the Snowbirds, and more.
