Picton native Scott Morgan of the Quinte Judo Club ended both of his matches early at the Tora Judo Championships in Brampton last Saturday, to earn top spot for the -90 kg veterans’ division (30 years+). Morgan threw his opponent in both matches flatly on his back, as quickly as the first 10 seconds. In judo, a perfect throw or pinning your opponent for 20 seconds will end the match early.
Morgan joined the Quinte Judo Club last October, and was a Golden Gloves boxer as a teenager.
