The Belleville General Hospital Foundation has announced a new partnership with Global Faces Direct.
It is hoped that the partnership will help double the foundation’s monthly donor base from 500 to 1,000 within three months to help meet the need for updating and replacing hospital equipment.
Representatives with the foundation will be visiting houses across Belleville, Quinte West and Prince Edward County to ask community members to join their “Give Every Month” (GEM) club.
Canvassers will be wearing BGHF branded vests, have photo I.D. and carry electronic tablets linked to a secure call centre. Regional police units are aware of the foundation’s efforts.
The foundation says monthly donations help to provide a sustainable income stream that allows for future planning and providing continuous care close to home.
