Total calls for service – Belleville police responded to 77 calls for service over a 24-hour period from 5 a.m. on April 22, 2024 to 5 a.m. on April 23, 2024.
The Belleville Police Service report a steady 24-hour period. Police did respond to several incidents that ended peacefully with police intervention. Those incidents included a noise complaint, one domestic dispute, two suspicious persons, three traffic complaints, nine 911 hangups,17 calls for police assistance, three unwanted persons, and seven thefts; among other various call types. Also, six motor vehicle collisions were referred to the Collision Reporting Center located at the Belleville Police Service.
