Prince Edward County OPP say there was no concern for public safety after a report of a weapon on a school property.
In a statement on social media site X on Friday, OPP reported they responded to a local school and located individuals who were found to be in possession of a toy.
Officers spoke to the youths about the incident.
Police say while they are aware of rumours and speculation online they assure everyone that there was no real threat.
