A half dozen vehicles were taken out of service during a commercial vehicle blitz in Prince Edward County.
The OPP joined forces with the Ministry of Transportation and Kingston police to conduct enforcement around Prince Edward County on Thursday, checking 25 vehicles.
Six were taken out of service for defects and three had licence plates removed for serious safety defects.
Detachment Commander Staff Sergeant John Hatch states, “The OPP remains fully committed to traffic safety. Officers continue to make a difference in preventing serious collisions on our roadways.”
