Things got out of hand at a gathering in Brighton Wednesday morning.
Northumberland OPP responded to a house on Cassidey Drive after a resident complained of people screaming at each other.
Police say a glass container was thrown at somebody during the disturbance.
A suspect had left the scene upon the OPP’s arrival, however, was arrested a short distance away.
Arrested and charged with assault with a weapon was 38-year-old Nicole Rosatte of Brighton.
One person had to be treated by paramedics for minor injuries.
