A Kingston man faces charges after a bizarre and scary incident in Belleville Wednesday afternoon.
City police say several people saw a man brandishing a knife while walking in traffic in the area of Dundas Street East and Church Street just before 5 o’clock.
He was arrested without incident and was carrying a five inch folding knife.
Officers learned the 33-year-old man was on a probation order to not be in possession of a knife unless inside his residence preparing food.
