Don’t forget that in addition to the annual Quinte Trash Bash this weekend, several communities are hosting Giveaway Days.
Residents are invited to place gently used household items that are no longer wanted to the curb for pick-up for other residents to take and give new life to.
Items could include furniture, electronics, tools, small appliances, construction materials and more.
Belleville’s Giveaway Days and Prince Edward County’s Large Item Swap Days will be held both Saturday (April 20) and Sunday (April 21).
The Quinte West Giveaway Day is Saturday only.

Also on Saturday in Tyendinaga Township, there will be a Quinte Waste Solutions Mobile Hazardous and Electronic Waste Collection Event from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. at 859 Melrose Rd.
