The date has been selected for the 2024 Bay of Quinte Relay For Life.
It was announced during a presentation to Quinte West Council on Wednesday that the charity event would take place on June 8, at Trenton High School, from 2 p.m. to 11 p.m.
The fundraiser event will see teams conduct a non stop relay around the track on the school’s grounds to raise funds for the Canadian Cancer society.
The relay for life raises money for the Canadian Cancer Society, which then uses the funds both for cancer research and to support those undergoing cancer treatment.
Last year’s event saw over 100 participants across 25 teams, and beat their fundraising goal of $57,000 with a grand total raised of $64,000.
