Belleville’s Trevor Hoskin has been voted the Most Valuable Player of the Ontario Junior Hockey League.
During his season with the Cobourg Cougars, Hoskin scored 100 points including 42 goals and 58 assists giving Hoskin the OJHL’s scoring title.
Hoskin was also the MVP at OJHL’s Eastern Canada All-Star Challenge in Trenton in November 2023 and was the leading scorer in the World Junior A Challenge on the silver medal-winning Team Canada East.
He is set to enroll in NCAA Division 1 hockey playing for the Niagara University Purple Eagles next year.
He’ll be joined by his Cobourg linemate Andy Reist.
