A public consultation event to be hosted by Prince Edward County next month is twofold.
On May 8, the County will host its second public consultation session for the Delhi Park Community Connections Plan and share information about a number of special initiatives planned for County Transit in 2024.
Unofficial and unmaintained pathways have been used in Picton’s Delhi park for many years but, in the interest of public safety and well-being, the municipality is looking to formalize these routes to improve pedestrian and cyclist connectivity.
Officials will also share what the County Transit system does, upcoming enhancements to the system, and next steps in planning for the future of transit in Prince Edward County.
The open house will be held on May 8 from 6 – 8 p.m. at Picton Town Hall.
