The list of people earning $100,000 or more working for Hastings County grew a lot last year.
In 2023 there were 134 county employees on the so-called Sunshine List while in 2022 there were just 80.
Topping last year’s earnings list was Registered Nurse Laura Childs at just over $215,000.
The second highest paid person was also an RN.
Sarah Ingram was paid close to $193,000.
Third on the list was Hastings County CAO Connor Dorey who earned a little over $171,000.
