It was a gorgeous day Tuesday and a record-setting one.
In the late afternoon the mercury rose to 22.4 degrees Celsius in the Quinte region according to readings taken at CFB Trenton.
That easily surpassed the former record of 19.4 degrees set 79 years ago in 1945.
