Now that the eclipse is over what do you do with those special glasses?
You don’t have to throw them away.
Many communities and organizations, including the City of Belleville, are collecting them to be donated to areas where people may not otherwise have a safe way to view future eclipses.
In Belleville, eclipse glasses can be dropped off at City Hall or 31 Wallbridge Crescent from Monday to Friday between 8:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m.
