The Township of Tyendinaga approved a draft sponsorship package that would allow companies to sponsor different facilities in the area.
In a package presented to council last week, the township said the sponsorship will help companies in three categories, Enhance Corporate Image, Increase Company Morale and Increase Sales.
Among the facilities a company could sponsor are one of the township’s park benches, spectator stands and picnic tables.
Each cost ranges from $1,000 to $7,500 with each sponsorship lasting five years.
