The City of Belleville has announced it has signed Dr. Revati Deshpande and Dr. Aswini Deshpande to its doctor recruitment program.
The sisters will take part in the program once they finish their respective residencies at Queen’s Family Medicine Residency Program.
“These two outstanding individuals have been able to get to know the community through their work at local clinics and at Quinte Health and love the lifestyle that our city has to offer,” said Mayor Neil Ellis in a press release.
“Council is thrilled that we have been able to recruit these two sisters, and we are eager for them to start their practices in 2025 and 2026. Revati and Aswini will provide excellent care to residents of Belleville. Please join us in welcoming them.”
Both Revati and Aswini also commented on signing with the City of Belleville.
“We are captivated by Belleville for its unique blend of serene waterways and lush greenery,” said Dr. Revati Deshpande and Dr. Aswini Deshpande in a press release.
“Having worked here as medical professionals, and now taking on roles as physicians, has strengthened our connection to the city. We are super excited to start practising here come the fall of 2025 and 2026.”
Since implementing its program, the city has been able to recruit 47 physicians and five nurse practitioners to the area.
