An investigation into a disturbance call has resulted in drug charges and the seizure of more than $40,000 worth of cocaine.
On the morning of February 24, 2024, Northumberland OPP responded to a report of a person causing a disturbance at a commercial property on King Street East in the Township of Cramahe.
Upon locating the individual, officers were led into a drug investigation and seized 427 grams of suspected cocaine with a street value of $42,700.
Tuesday police arrested 38-year-old Tara Turk of Colborne on a charge of possession for the purpose of trafficking.
The accused is scheduled to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice in Cobourg at a future date.
