The Total Solar Eclipse passing over the Quinte Region on Monday may be tougher to view than expected, as weather forecasts predict mostly cloudy weather.
Weather forecasts by The Weather Network indicate clouds are going to be moving into southern Ontario on Monday, presenting challenging viewing conditions for those looking to take in the total solar eclipse as it passes through the region.
It’s predicted there will be some sunshine along with the cloud so people in the Quinte region will be keeping their fingers crossed that clouds don’t obscure the sun completely as the eclipse take place.
The cloud cover is expected to break up before the path of totality veers back into the north-eastern United States, before growing cloudy again along the path as it makes its way north into Newfoundland and Labrador.
