With just over two weeks left in the American Hockey League season the Belleville Senators face another critical weekend with two home games.
Tonight (Friday) they host the Springfield Thunderbirds (St. Louis Blues).
Saturday the North Division-leading Syracuse Crunch (Tampa Bay Lightning) is in town.
Belleville is two points out of a playoff spot with eight games left (four home – four away). More importantly, they have two games in hand on the fifth place Laval Rocket.
Springfield is in seventh place in the Atlantic Division with slim playoff hopes.
Game time both nights is 7:05 at CAA Arena.
