With Monday, total solar eclipse day, arriving soon Quinte News thought it would be a good time to check in with our staff meteorologist Kevin Williams to check on what the weather will be like.
Kevin predicts it won’t be perfect but it definitely will not be a totally cloudy or rainy day.
“The issue more will be passing waves of middle and high cloud coverage. This kind of cloud coverage wouldn’t obscure the sun but it could dull it, dim it, and frustrate photographers and others wanting to appreciate the totality in all its glory but that’s not something we can easily predict with specificity at this point and something we’ll have to monitor through the weekend.”
