Hospice Quinte has announced the recipient of the second annual John Williams Champion of Care Award.
The Breakfast of Champions, presented by McDougall Insurance and Financial, happens the morning of Wednesday, May 8 at The Grand on Harder Drive in Belleville.
This year the Klemencic Family will be the honourees.
Hospice Quinte’s new location in Bayside was named the Stan Klemencic Care Centre.
The family donated $1 million toward the construction costs of the facility and have been major supporters of the agency in the past.
The breakfast on May 8 takes place from 7 a.m. to 9 a.m. and will include a full-course hot breakfast and musical entertainment. The cost is $150 per person. It includes a $100 charitable tax receipt.
