A new facility to help the homeless get off the streets will be opened this morning (Tuesday) in Prince Edward County.
Local officials and politicians will cut the ribbon on Leeward House, formerly known as The Maples of Picton retirement home on County Road 5.
Leeward House will serve to move nine people from homelessness to a congregate living environment with support staff on site.
