Quinte West firefighters were busy Sunday night in Trenton.
Crews responded to reports of a garage fire at 48 Dufferin Avenue.
The fire had spread into the older wood frame house but firefighters knocked the flames down quickly.
No one was home at the time of the incident and there were no injuries.
A cause is under investigation.
