The Northumberland OPP are currently investigating a fatal two-vehicle collision in Alnwick-Haldimand Township.
On Friday March 28, 2024 at approximately 11:30 p.m., members of the Northumberland OPP, with assistance from Fire and EMS, responded to a report of a serious collision on County Road 45 near Beagle Club Road.
Sadly, as a result of the collision, the drivers of both vehicles and a passenger were confirmed deceased. Two other passengers were transferred to hospitals with non-life-threatening injuries.
County Road 45 was closed between County Road 22 and Beagle Club Road during the investigation and has recently reopened.
The investigation is ongoing.
