Ontario’s Sunshine List shows the five top paid public employees in the province last year are all at Ontario Power Generation.
OPG’s CEO Ken Hartwick made $1.9 million in 2023.
The annual list reveals public sector workers who were paid more than $100,000.
The list for 2023 had more than 300,000 names.
Meanwhile, locally in the health care sector, the President and CEO of Quinte Health Stacey Daub earned $367,588 last year. Hastings Prince Edward Public Health’s Medical Officer Dr.Ethan Toumishey earned $285,303.
In the education sector the Director of Education for the Hastings Prince Edward District School Board Katherine Maciver was paid $250,376 while the Director for the Algonquin Lakeshore Catholic District School Board David Desantis earned $262,034.
