Three Oaks Foundation Establishes New Visual Identity.
Three Oaks is dedicated to connecting with women and their children who have yet to reach out for help.
Three Oaks Foundation, a not-for-profit organization providing vital services and support to victims and survivors of intimate partner violence in Hastings and Prince Edward Counties has established a new visual identity.
As society evolves and the epidemic of intimate partner violence exacerbates, Three Oaks Foundation has chosen to adapt the appearance of their agency.
Three Oaks Foundation’s adapted appearance is only the surface.
The agency has also developed a new website with up to date, free and downloadable resources and will be developing a newsletter.
By providing accessible information pertaining to violence against women, Three Oaks continues to empower women and community members to educate themselves on the epidemic issue of intimate partner violence.
The website will promote upcoming events and provide information on support groups hosted by Three Oaks.
Their new website is dedicated to providing insight on healthy and unhealthy relationships, information specific to youth, barriers experienced when leaving an abusive relationship, forms of abuse, how to support a friend in an abusive relationship and safety planning suggestions.
“By addressing and providing public access to education on dating violence, the cycle of abuse and updated safety planning tips, we can play a larger role in prevention,” says Training and Education Coordinator, Natalie O’Toole, “We are determined to expand our presence in the community and increase awareness of the programs that we offer to let victims and survivors know that there is support available.”
Three Oaks hopes that these changes will allow the agency to reach more community members and in turn, support in the awareness raising of the services they offer. Three Oaks aims to reach the women and children in the Hastings and Prince Edward Counties who have yet to reach out for help to provide them with safety, healing and recovery.
