A minor zoning change was approved during Thursday’s Quinte West Planning Advisory Committee meeting.
The property, a farm located at 525 Foxboro-Stirling Road, was changed from agriculture, to agriculture exception 30.
This change permits the owner to operate a small truss manufacturing facility, which is classified as an on-farm diversified use.
The truss building business is planned to be contained within an existing building on the land, and will not affect the current agricultural use surrounding it.
