The City of Belleville is seeking proposals for an original art piece that can be gifted as mementos to distinguished guests.
The city says it wants the help of local artists to help create a unique piece of art to serve as a reminder to the dignitaries, international guests, and corporate representatives that visit Belleville.
Submissions can be made through paintings, sculptures, graphic art, fibre art, printmaking, digital art, mixed media, photography, etc.
Each piece must capture the spirit of Belleville.
Only one submission is allowed per artist and it must be an original piece that is also airport/travel-friendly.
The deadline for submissions is Wednesday, April 10 at 2 p.m.
