The Bay of Quinte and COSSA champion St. Theresa Titans move on to Day 2 at the Ontario High School A/AA hockey championships in Whitby following a pair of decisive wins on Tuesday.
In the first game the third ranked Titans shut out fifth seed St. Mary’s of Owen Sound 9-0.
Evan Erwin scored a hat trick and Connor Weido added a pair.

In their second game St. Theresa romped to a 12-4 win over number 16 Sir Oliver Mowat Collegiate from Scarborough.
Deke Osterhout led the Titans with four goals. Connor Weido scored two and Evan Erwin added a pair.
St. Theresa meets tenth ranked St. Mary’s of Hamilton to round out the round robin portion of the tournament this morning (Wed) at 10 o’clock.
They have already qualified for the quarter finals at 2 p.m.
