Gift from the Heart is continuing its dental health clinic program in Brighton.
During a deputation by Jimmy McClain, Community Engagement Liaison for Gift from the Heart, Prince Edward County Council heard about Gift from the Heart’s current programs to provide dental care to people going without.
During the presentation, McClain discussed their ongoing outreach clinic programs, including their Brighton location.
The program has started offering preventative treatments as well as emergency dental procedures to help improve people’s overall oral health.
He also shared plans for a third annual Amazing Race fundraiser in September in Brighton.
Council accepted the information, but took no action at this time.
