Quinte West’s Planning Advisory Committee will discuss a significant change to a proposed major housing development
in Trenton at its meeting Thursday.
The owners of three adjacent properties on Stella Crescent are asking for Official Plan and zoning amendments to increase
the number of storeys on a high-rise apartment building to 13 from the previously proposed nine.
If approved, the building would hold 246 apartments instead of 166.
The properties involved include one on which the banquet hall Heroes Landing now stands. It would be demolished to make way for the high-rise.
Quinte West staff is recommending the applications be approved by the committee.
