The Belleville Senators got a lot out of 22 shots on goal defeating the Utica Comets 5-2 at the CAA Arena Wednesday night.
Angus Crookshank’s 23rd of the season broke a two-all tie midway in the second period opening the door to three unanswered goals.
Mads Sogaard returned from the Ottawa Senators where he stopped 25 shots to earn his 46th win, passing Filip Gustavsson to set a new franchise record.

Belleville wins the season series taking five of eight from Utica to move into sole possession of fourth place in the AHL North.
The B-Sens are in Syracuse Friday night then host the Bridgeport Islanders on Saturday night.
